ABOUT SUE VANDERBERG

Sue Vanderberg is a fine artist and owner of Bird in the Mountain Art of New Hope, AL. Sue grew up near Memphis, TN and studied art for four years in the gifted program under John Chapman as well as the Memphis College of Art. She received a full scholarship to study art upon graduating. She has had art work hanging in congressmen offices and currently has art in the personal art collection of the mayor of Huntsville, AL. She has received further instruction in art at UAH as well. She works mostly in custom orders for acrylic landscapes and graphite portraits. Her style varies from abstract to realism. She offers raised textured paintings that highlight the brushstroke movements or flat paintings with elements similar to water color on canvas.
